Swim Lessons

Drowning is the leading cause of death for children ages 1-4, the second leading cause of unintentional death for children ages 4-14, and the third leading cause of unintentional injury death worldwide for all ages.  Teaching children to swim, never swimming alone, and supervising your children around the pool are critical, preventative steps toward drowning prevention. Join the Learn to Swim Program at the Colton Aquatic Facility today!

Things to Know

Class Transfers: If a swimmer does not meet the swim level requirements, a transfer may be necessary. Stop by Recreation Swim for a swim evaluation with a lifeguard if you're unsure about the appropriate level to enroll your child.

Waitlist/Added Classes: For popular swim levels, additional classes may be added. If your desired class is full, be sure to join the waitlist!

Class Cancelations: All classes are subject to minimum enrollment requirements and may be cancelled or combined due to low enrollment. Any class cancelations due to weather or pool maintenance may be rescheduled to the following Friday.
