Facility Maintenance

The Building Maintenance Department is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of all City-owned buildings which include:

  • Thomson Teen Center
  • Carnegie Museum
  • City Annex
  • Civic Center
  • Corporate Yard
  • Electric Yard
  • Fire Stations

The maintenance and repair of these facilities include painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical, janitorial, as well as the operation, service and maintenance of the heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, swimming pool and decorative fountain.

Staff members are skilled in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, welding, minor roofing, window repair, painting and locks.
