Become a Colton VolunTEEN!

Want an epic summer filled with memories, fun, and the chance to give back to your community? Gain valuable job experience and after completing 150 hours of VolunTEEN service, you will receive a cash stipend.

What You Have to Do:

  • Be a Colton resident.

  • Be between the ages of 13–15 years old by June 8, 2026.vteen600

  • Complete a VolunTEEN application (Available January, 2026).

  • Include two letters of recommendation: one from a teacher and one from another adult (not family or teacher).

  • Write a short essay on “Why you’re the right person for the program.”

  • Attend an interview, scheduled for April 13–16, 2026.

Application Deadline: Tuesday, April 7, 2026 – no exceptions

Applications can be picked up and submitted at:

  • Thompson Teen Center
